Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

This policy applies to every class, workshop and certification program booked with Pananom Floral Design Academy (PFDA) and Pananom Co, including group certification classes, private 1:1 classes, special classes and international workshops, whether booked on our website, by message or in person. By paying a reservation fee, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

• Student: the one person named on a booking, who attends the class and receives the certificate.
• Class Day: one calendar date on which the Student attends one or more sessions. A multi-day workshop booked as one program counts as one booking.
• Reservation Fee: the amount paid to secure the Student's slot, shown on each class page before checkout.
• Certification Processing Fee: 2% of the Class Fee, paid at booking to prepare and process the Student's physical certificate.
• Class Fee: the full published price of the class, program or workshop booked.
• Notice Period: at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled start time of the class.

2. Reservation and certification processing fees

• A slot is confirmed only once we receive the Reservation Fee and the Certification Processing Fee.
• Reservation Fees are charged per person. For group classes, the fee is charged per Class Day, so classes on two different dates require two Reservation Fees.
• The Reservation Fee is deducted from the Class Fee. The Certification Processing Fee is paid on top of the Class Fee and is not deducted. For example, for a ₱5,000 class: ₱2,000 Reservation Fee + ₱100 Certification Processing Fee is due at booking, and the ₱3,000 balance is due on class day.
• Reservation Fees and Certification Processing Fees are non-refundable in all cases, including cancellation, late notice and no-show. When a booking is moved to a new date under this policy, both fees carry over.

3. Paying the balance

• The remaining balance is due by the date stated on the class page or in your booking confirmation.
• Installment or customized payment arrangements may be available for some programs and are subject to our approval. Please ask before you book.

4. One Student per booking

Each booking is for one Student, as certificates are prepared per person. The certificate is issued in the name given at booking. To enroll someone else, please make a separate booking.

5. PFDA student rates

Some programs offer a PFDA student rate. To use it, the Student's name must match our certification records. We may check eligibility before confirming a booking. If a Student is not eligible, the regular rate applies.

6. Cancellations and date changes

• To cancel or change the date of a class, message us on Instagram or email us within the Notice Period. Notice takes effect when we receive it, so please keep a copy of your message.
• Notice given in time: a date change moves your booking to another available class date, subject to slots, and your Reservation Fee carries over. A cancellation ends the booking, and the Reservation Fee is forfeited.
• Late notice or no-show: because materials and certificates are prepared and paid for in advance, the full Class Fee is due if notice reaches us after the Notice Period, or if the Student does not show up.
• Example: for a class on Sunday, 15 November at 9:00 AM, notice must reach us by 9:00 AM on Sunday, 8 November.

7. Unavoidable circumstances

Section 6's late-notice rule does not apply if the Student cannot attend because of a circumstance that could not be avoided, such as an act of God (for example a typhoon, earthquake or flood) or a medical emergency, provided the Student:

1. tells us as soon as reasonably possible; and
2. emails supporting documentation, such as a medical certificate or an official advisory.

Once we accept the documentation, the Student will be moved to the next available class date within the current month or the following month. The Reservation Fee carries over and is not refunded. We decide, acting reasonably, whether the documentation supports the request.

8. Changes by PFDA

Dates, venues or instructors may occasionally change because of circumstances outside our control. If we need to change your class, we will contact you as early as possible with the new details and your options.

9. Agreement

Ticking the policy checkbox when enrolling, or paying a Reservation Fee, confirms that the Student has read and agrees to this policy.
